Welcome to the University of Exeter, Exeter Campuses, UniCard application portal.

Please have the following to hand before embarking on this process:

• Your Exeter Student Number, this is a nine-digit number that is listed at the top of previous email communications from the University of Exeter.
  Please note, this is separate to your UCAS number.
• A recent digital photo.

Your photo should be:

• In colour.
• A recent resemblance of you on your own.
• A head and shoulders shot with you looking at the camera.
• A good quality photo, e.g not a photo of a photo.
• A selfie is fine, you can smile - it's not a passport photo.
• Free of "Snapchat" style filters.
• In one of the following formats:
• JPEG
• PNG
• No more than 2MB.
• No smaller than 200x250 pixels in size.
• You are not required to remove religious headwear for UniCard photo use.

NOTE - You will be able to rotate and crop your photo during the upload process.

If your photo is deemed unsuitable, you will receive an email asking you to upload your photo again.

Continuing Students

If you are a current student continuing on to a new course, you do not need to apply for a new UniCard. You will be issued a new UniCard using the photograph we already have on file for you ready for your course start date.

Collecting Your Unicard

You can collect your Unicard from when you arrive in Exeter

During September Arrivals and Welcome Week special collection arrangements will be in place - please see https://www.exeter.ac.uk/newstudents/whenyouarrive/ for information.

At all other times of the year cards will be available for collection from the Student Information Desk - please see https://www.exeter.ac.uk/students/sid/ for opening times.

Online / Distance Learners, Degree Apprentices And CEDAR Students

You can request that your card is sent via post. Details of how to submit a postal request will be included on the email you receive when your photo is approved or can be viewed here https://www.exeter.ac.uk/students/sid/unicard/.
